I noticed how close the board was, and how much the board worked to do all they can for the general members. Little did I know, I would joining FFXVI (Final Fantasy 16) board as Outreach Co-Coordinator, and holding up a position for 3 years now as one of the Directors. It’s crazy to look back on that.

WHAT CAREER ARE YOU AIMING TOWARDS?: Ever since I was little I knew I wanted to have a career in health care because I find it fulfilling to help others with their health. I admit I have changed my mind around a lot in this career field because there is an infinite and diverse amount of careers in health care, but I am looking into becoming a Nurse Practitioner while still incorporating public health in as well. However, I am remaining pretty open-minded to whatever career I will have in the future, but at the end of the day as long as I am helping others, that is the most rewarding career I could ask for :)

FAVORITE PUSO MEMORY: One of the many memorable moments I’ve had in PUSO is my first general meeting, specifically the after event. It was a bonfire at Corona del Mar, and the driver of the car I was in (I should probably leave unnamed) drove the opposite way for 20 minutes and finally realized we were going the wrong way. Funny thing is, the bonfire couldn’t start without us, because we had the lighter fluid! We ended up trying to make s’mores, after an almost failed attempt at making fire, and then we all got hungry and decided to go eat at Kula after the bonfire! :) The people I was with made me feel comfortable and I felt that this organization is more than just a club that I can go to every week. I knew I wanted to be involved in the organization, stretch my leadership skills and surround myself with people with similar goals in life. As a result, I applied for the Intern Program, which led me to becoming part of PUSO Board, as Historian. :)
